I’m not sure if you’re a fan of oysters. If you’ve never had them, you’ll know they can be a bit intimidating at first. The soft, wet texture and shell presentation can be off-putting. But once you get past that, you’ll discover that oysters are actually quite delicious. Some people prefer them raw, but I haven’t quite reached that level of sophistication yet.
However, when I had them as Oysters Rockefeller, it was a game-changer. It’s like oysters transform into superheroes when they’re cooked in the phone booth or oven and emerge with a delightful combination of spinach, cheese, and crispy bacon.
But don’t be fooled into thinking that all Oysters Rockefeller are created equal. I had the best experience at Rockafeller’s Restaurant.
When you see a dozen hot Oysters Rockefeller being served to you, accompanied by a crisp hit of bacon, you’ll know that you’re in for a treat. This dish doesn’t require any sides; all you need is an ice-cold drink to complement the experience. Well done, Rockafeller’s Restaurant!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that they’ve been added to their happy hour menu. So, if you see someone in the corner with five dozen oysters, it might just be me.
